Abstract
The Course of Law of the Sacred Hearts of Valparaiso, which began operation son April 2, 1894, was one of the fi rst founded in Chile outside Santiago and remain suntil today, having joined in 1947, with out interruption, in the Catholic University of Valparaiso, being now its School of Law. Biographical traits of teachers whowe remembers of the founding generation of the Course when it began its activities are presented.
