Abstract

The following paper discusses the affections, passions or feelings from philosophy. To do this, we will use the Aristotelian analysis of pathos in some major works of the philosopher, and the role it assigns to the phenomenon in the field of philosophy. Subsequently, we will analyze the reception and appropriation that the German philosopher Martin Heidegger does of this kind of phenomenon in relation to the elucidation of the fundamental question of the meaning of Being from the existential analytic of Dasein.
